She is also acting with Dhanush in the film Aadu Kalam directed by Vetrimaaran. Trisha has donned the role of an Anglo Indian girl. She falls in love with Dhanush in this action oriented romantic film.

Since Trisha did not know the life style and habits of Anglo Indians she had been to Ellis Nagar and Railway Colony in Madurai to study their way of life. She had also stayed with them for some time. Anglo Indians from Madurai are acting as Trisha parents in this film.”
