Lingusamy’s Paiyya began the first day shooting launched near Bangalore. The Paiya movie with Karthi and Tamannaah in the lead. Paiya is Lingusamy’s next directorial venture after Bheema. Paiya will be produced by Tiruppathi Brothers. Yuvan Shankar Raja will be scoring the music for ‘Paiya’, while Madhi will take care of cinematography. Editing is by Anthony and lyrics are by Na Muthukumar and Yugabharathi.

Kuruvi’s success makes Trisha happy, Trisha is beaming with joy. Though the movie
has managed a mixed review, she is thrilled that it has managed good opening at the box office.

She is currently shooting for a couple of Telugu movies ‘Bujjigadu’ with Prabhas and ‘King’ opposite Nagarjuna. Also she is ready to commence shooting for Tamil venture ‘Sarvam’ with Arya directed by Vishnuvardhan.

Trisha is happy that 2008 is going in the right direction. ’Big offers come my way and I am respected and given plump roles’.
