There is news that, in 2011, Kamal is desperate to act with Aishwarya Rai.

‘Enthiran‘ is opening on October 1 all over the world including USA. But the tickets for the first week were a sell out within ten minutes of the advance booking counter opening.

The record breaking event happened at the Jackson Heights in New York. Usually the advance booking starts for a Hollywood film only a week before the release of the film. But the advance booking for ‘Enthiran’ started two weeks before and even then it was a record sell out.

Endhiran has high cost of production as compared to other movies in India.The movie is directed by Super Director Shanker whose earlier Rajini movie Shivaji the Boss is now also in top of Boxoffice among other Indian movies.The movie reaches globally over 2000 screens on October 1 in all the three languages that are Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.The music of the movie is composed by A R Rahman, and the songs are become already top of the channels.

Longines’ Ambassador of Elegance Kate Winslet has presented the new additions to the Longines DolceVita collection along with the Bollywood icon Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and the Asian filmstar Chi Ling Lin.

It is heard that she has given a lot of inputs in designing her own dresses for her character in the film Robot or Endhiran (in Tamil).

Director Shankar acknowledges the contribution of Ash.

“Aishwarya plays a modern girl in the film, in the songs we have presented her in a never-seen avatar. I know she applied a lot of thought in designing her own wardrobe,” said Shankar.

The film is set to release on September 24. It is the most expensive film produced in India, made on a whopping budget of Rs. 190 crores.

“Endhiran has 1500 graphical shots – a record in Indian cinema. If a movie has heavy graphics works like this, obviously it would be delayed,” a source commented. There are reports that the film will release in 2000 screens worldwide, the highest ever for a Tamil film. With a budget of Rs. 200 crores, Endhiran is also the costliest Tamil film ever made.

After the release of Endhiran, Rajinikanth may take a break and then commence the works of his daughter Soundarya’s animation film Sultan – The Warrior, which has been in the making for the last couple of years.

Ash and Abhi were to resume the shooting of Ratnam’s film Ravana from April 20 but the schedule has been delayed due to Ratnam’s poor health. Due to the delay, the couple also decided to take a break and went off to an undisclosed location to mark their second wedding anniversary on April 20.
