Looks like it has become a trend in Kollywood to have audio launches abroad, the recent examples being Endhiran’s audio launch in Malaysia and Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’s (VTV) launch in London.

The latest to join the bandwagon is the Simbu-Anushka starrer Vaanam, remake of the Telugu hit Vedham.

“This one’s going to be one rocking album!” begins producer-actor Ganesh on the audio of Vaanam. “The audio launch of VTV was a great success in London and we are just planning to cash in on the trend,” adds Ganesh, who had also co-produced VTV.

Looks like Anushka is all set to romance Vikram. For, sources say the yoga tutor turned actress has signed a film with the ‘Cheeyan’ which would be directed by Vijay of ‘Madrasapattinam‘ fame

It is said that the director met the actress when she was in Chennai recently for her another upcoming film ‘Vaanam‘ and narrated the story and the importance of her character.

“Impressed by it, Anushka immediately expressed her consent to be a part of the film. This will be her first film with Vikram and she is thrilled about the project”, sources add.

Anushka, who has acted in Tamil with Madhavan, Vijay and Suriya, is a top actress in Tollywood. Impressed by her performance in ‘Arundhathee’, Silambarasan has roped in her for ‘Vaanam’.
