Suriya & Reema Sen in Avan Ivan

Bala for the first time is doing a full-length comedy entertainer film Avan Ivan. The film will star Arya & Vishal playing lead roles.

Suriya & Reema Sen will be doing a cameo role for the film. It was reported that to ensure that the film has more commercial elements the producers and director has roped with Suriya & Reema Sen.

Sources say that, Suriya plays a cameo of Suriya himself. Scenes involving Suriya was shot for 3 days.

Reema Sen though got many offers in Kollywood after Aayirathil Oruvan, she kept refraining from them in order not to lose the appreciation she gained from the movie. Since Avan Ivan is a big project by Bala involving leading actor and technicians she accepted the offer.

Sources said that the shoot for the film will be completed by December 2010.

The Minnale lass is not Reema Sen anymore; the gorgeous star has changed her name in Aayirathail Oruvan and she will be known as Reemma hereafter.

Reemma is all praise for director Selvaraghavan and protagonist Karthi Sivakumar. “Initially, I thought twice of working with Selva, as people in the industry said he is a nightmare. But he is cool, friendly and a thorough professional. Of course, he is demanding. But that’s the work of a director,” she says.

Coming to hero Karthi, she says, “He is simply superb. He is going to go places after the release of Aayirathil Oruvan. He has done a wonderful job and sharing screen space with him was nothing short of a delight.”

On reports of having some problems with Andrea, the other heroine of the movie, Reemma says, “We may fight on screen as per the script. But those rumours about Andrea and me crossing swords on the sets are baseless.”

All smiles, Reemma claims her phone has not stopped ringing ever since the trailer of the film was launched last week. “A big thank you to Selva and cinematographer Ramji for making me so beautiful on screen.”

Reema Sen has paired with Karthi in the film Aayirathil Oruvan. She has given her call sheet for two years for this film. Now she has completed this film and has flown back to her home town. She has also given instruction to her manger that she should not be contacted by anyone until the release of the film Aayirathil Oruvan.

Her part in this film is more than 60%. She has given this instruction to her manger in order to enhance her salary after the release of this film.
